Office & Systems Coordinator – Full Time (35 hours a week)

Spirasi, the national centre for the rehabilitation of victims of torture in Ireland, wishes to appoint an Office & Systems Coordinator who will be responsible for organising the smooth and efficient running of a busy service involving full-time and part-time staff, interns and volunteers. The ideal candidate will be required to implement, monitor and evaluate a systematic approach across the organization to greater facilitate the mission of Spirasi.

Person Specification:


- Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent
- Three years minimum experience of working in office admin coordination and management role
- Proven track record of managing and developing systems within organisations to improve service delivery
- Commitment to the mission and vision of Spirasi
- Excellent IT skills including high proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs (Salesforce)
- Excellent proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidentiality, discretion, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism
- Self-confidence and ability to advocate within the realm of the administrative function
- Flexibility and adaptability, a positive outlook, team player, excellent interpersonal skills and a proven capacity for innovation
- Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail,
- Ability to prioritise and problem solve particularly with regard to systems, ability to think and act strategically
- Good sense of self care


- Experience of working with asylum seekers and refugees
- Understanding of the Irish system as it pertains to international protection applicants and people from a refugee background
- Data Protection knowledge
- Financial experience
- Health and Safety Knowledge
