Launch of Befriending Research Report

On 7th September in the Long Room Hub in Trinity College Dublin, Dr Rachel Hoare presented the findings and recommendations of her research which evaluated the experiences of befriendees and befrienders of the Spirasi Befriending Programme. Our sincere thanks to Rachel, to all the research participants and to the Irish Research Council for their funding.

UN International Day 2022 in Support of Victims of Torture

Spirasi's online event on Saturday 25th June, at 10am will mark the UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture.
We will be joined by Professor Renos Papadopoulos,  Dr. Rachel Hoare, and two representatives from Spirasi's befriending support service.

LGBTQ+ Support Group In-person Meeting

The LGBTQ+ Peer Support Group toured the streets of Dublin, being the first in-person meeting for the group since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
